It's snow all the way for Ski-write with Klammer

Ski-write's press trip to Carinthia (Kärnten), the southernmost province of Austria, gets off the ground, despite the most appalling snow conditions in the UK which closed most of the London airports - except, thankfully, Stansted.

Ski-write's press trip to Carinthia (Kärnten), the southernmost province of Austria, gets off the ground, despite the most appalling snow conditions in the UK which closed most of the London airports - except, thankfully, Stansted.

The group flew into Klagenfurt and headed off to the ski resort of Heiligenblut for a couple of days' glorious skiing, then on to Bad Kleinkirchheim for the eagerly anticipated ski day with Austria's Olympic gold hero Franz Klammer.

As always, Franz was charming to his fans from across Europe who flocked to his home town for this annual opportunity to ski with him. And our group was in luck as he lunched and dined with us, too.
