Dolomiti Superski in northern Italy - the world's largest ski region with 12 ski areas including Val Gardena - has announced that their winter programme is to continue as planned, well into April.
This statement comes to reassure holidaymakers who are committed to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Dolomit Superski President Dr Sandro Lazzari said:
We want to maintain our positive image, which has been built up over decades of work, and to highlight the dedication and passion of many people who work every day so that skiers and boarders can take advantage of a high-quality service.
The Dolomiti Superski area covers 1200km of groomed piste, 30 snowparks and 450 skilifts across the 12 areas.
